Fairy-tales are normally set in a kingdom far far away yet touring around New Zealand right now we have a beast of a fairy-tale resplendent with a castle, a Princess, a Prince, fairies and a magic spell that needs to be broken.
The Sleeping Beauty is quite unlike any fairy story stage adaptation that I have ever seen. Judging by the ‘ohhhs” and “ahhhhs’ coming from the audience on opening night, the public agree.
